Holly Hopkins Jazz performs a wide variety of jazz and blues music, from classic to more modern styles all around the greater Charlotte area and Western North Carolina. Holly Hopkins Jazz also attempts to fulfill on-the-spot song requests when possible.
Holly Hopkins’ musical expression draws on classical and modern Jazz influences, and her musical presentation can be described as “contemplative chanteuse” with a southern soul flare.
On occasion you’ll find her participating in Charlotte, North Carolina area Jazz series and festivals. In 2019 she will be making a third appearance at Old Town Cornelius Jazz Festival and in 2018 was featured on the Real Music Hangout live stream program. She has also twice been a guest vocalist at the O’Henry Hotel Jazz Series in Greensboro, North Carolina and has been honored to be a frequent guest at the Olde Hickory Jazz On Tap Show in Hickory, North Carolina. Another highlight of her jazz career was to be one of the evening favorites at the open mic show at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City.
